Timeout on updating plugin L3MON4D3/LuaSnip and editorconfig/editorconfig-vim?

Hi,

when I'm updating my plugins, lazy always timeout on two plugins:

• L3MON4D3/LuaSnip
• editorconfig/editorconfig-vim

The reason is failed to clone git submodules.

then I tried to set a longer value git.timeout=30*60 (30 min) to let it work. But result is same:

How to solve this?

I am still working fine. I think that's your country's problem...
I have heard that sometimes access to github from your country is unstable. I've also heard that some people are using some kind of proxy server.

I'm in company with VPN network, other plugins process fine, only these two.
But the network of git looks lower than 5KB/s.

By the way, unrelated to this, editorconfig is now built into Neovim, so editorconfig-vim is not necessary.

I also think the git submodule is not working properly in your environment as the error says.
It seems that this is not a problem in lazy.nvim, because it is working fine in my environment.

yes. Only HEAD(https://github.com/neovim/neovim/releases/tag/nightly) can use it.

If 30mins is not enough, you could increase it or set config.git.timeout = false to disable it
