Praise and gratitude

I just wanted to open a chat to share my praise and gratitude for this plugin.

I've never been much for lazy loading before, but with the help of this plugin it is so easy.

Two features I've most appreciated are these:

• Adding plugin config files for each plugin. My neovim layout was a mess before. It was hard for me to tell what files were for my personal config and config for plugins. This feature makes this so easy to keep organized and I love it.
• Plugin update time is orders of magnitude quicker on my Windows computer compared to packer. Packer was taking around 5 minutes to update my plugins, it was so bad I would just leave the room and come back later after starting it. Enter your amazing plugin lazy.nvim and the updates are quick and it does not freeze my screen. I get nice feedback for each updated plugin and the total time for updates is now around 30 seconds. Bravo!!

I started to organize Vim extensions ten years ago with vim-pathogen and switched to using packadd later until now, in conjunction with git submodules. I still use aliased git submodule update --init --recursive --remote to upgrade and ! bash -c 'GIT_DIR='$(git top)/$1'/.git tig log --pretty=fuller '$2 (with bash completion of changed submodules) to look what changed. It works for years, but it is neither fast nor the most convenient (although also not the least).

I never had a need to install vim-plug, packer etc. at that time but Lazy looks tempting enough compared to my legacy environment to check it out in free time not only as basis for minimal examples.
