BufEnter + alpha-nvim

Hi,

I have several plugins that I'd like to load upon BufEnter (basically when I open a file in a buffer or create a new buffer). However, I'm currently using alpha-nvim which is effectively a BufEnter, but for which I don't need these plugins (lsp stuff, treesitter, gitgutter etc), so ideally I'd want to not load them when entering alpha.

Is there some way to achieve this? I've tried some other buffer events as well like BufReadPost or BufNewFile but there's always a combination that overlaps with alpha or ignores some legit use case.

You should use BufReadPre to load plugins that should only be loaded when opening a file

That works well, except for when I'm opening a new buffer for editing -- it won't load the plugins until I've written the file to disk. But I guess that this is a bit hard to distinguish with what alpha does, right? :/

Still, thanks for the tip for BufReadPre, I'll use that wherever relevant :)
