How to get all git logs of last update?

Hello,

When updating packages (or when reviewing them after the fact) I'd like to see the full log since the last time the package was updated. (not just the last 3 days of logs)

I tried to set git.log = {"ORIG_HEAD.."} (I usually use git log ORIG_HEAD.. to review merged/pulled changed).

This seems to work on the Update "tab" (just after an update).
But it breaks on the Logs "tab", saying that ORIG_HEAD isn't a known revision.

👉 so is there a reliable way to do this?

no. After an update we show the correct log of the new updates.

Are you saying that the git.log option is only for configuring the logs in the Logs UI, not in the Update UI ?

yes. The update and check UI always shows the new commits. The log ui, is basically git log
