How can I run autoupdates when building a docker image?

I've got the following lines in a dockerfile:

RUN nvim --headless "+Lazy! sync" +qa
RUN nvim --headless "+Lazy! update" +qa 
RUN nvim --headless "+Lazy! install" +qa

However, when I open a file on the image for the first time, the Lazy dialog still pops open and is looking to install rather than having the plugins already installed. When I run these commands directly from the command line, however, they seem to work just fine.

OK, it just hit me as to why. The nvim config had not been copied over into the image.
