How to use dev?

I tried to install a local plugin located at ~/nvim-summon/ like this:

Lazy is showing that the plugin is loaded, but it doesn't actually work. Did I write the config wrong? The documentation for dev is brief and doesn't include any examples.

Am also experiencing trouble with this.

Working on nvim-telescope/telescope-fzf-native.nvim#93 and I'm unable to confirm if the build, init step are even run when i have the plugin set to dev = true:

Build won't run, since there is no install or update. The rest works as expected. I use dev for all my plugins.

@folke i guess what I'm after here is the ability to test out the build step of a plugin without having to continually push changes up to git

I just added this. You can do :Lazy build telescope-fzf-native.nvim or press <b> on a plugin in the Lazy ui
