Lazy window on startup seems to be reinstalling Lazy.nvim

Hi there. I'm new to neovim in general, so I'm just not sure about something.

Every time I open neovim, it shows the lazy window with the default theme. It then seems to be reinstalling Lazy, cloning it from the github, resolving deltas, etc. This can take up to a minute, because my machine is on the slow side.

After that, it changes to the color theme I use, and I can interact with the program.

Is this typical, or is there something I should change with the setup?

If its important, I'm using neovim on Windows through Windows Terminal, that is running Powershell.

There were typos in my Lua code, which led to this. Has since been resolved.
