file Fifo usage with file output plugin

With the file output plugin, i would like write into a fifo file created before (with mkfifo command)
I use this output configuration :

<match kubernetes.var.log.containers.**>
  @type file
  path /logs/fluentd
  symlink_path /logs/fluentd/toto
</match>

But my toto fifo file created before is replaced by fluent with a symbolic file :

 /logs/fluentd $ ls -ltr
 lrwxrwxrwx    1 10009600 10009600        58 Jun 10 14:26 toto -> 
 /logs/fluentd/buffer.b5e118b89db1cb8c807990b5fcd4ab859.log
 -rw-r--r--    1 10009600 10009600        79 Jun 10 14:26 buffer.b5e118b89db1cb8c807990b5fcd4ab859.log.meta
 -rw-r--r--    1 10009600 10009600      4941 Jun 10 14:26 buffer.b5e118b89db1cb8c807990b5fcd4ab859.log

In Output, do you know if possible to write into a fifo file with file plugin or another..?
