modeling electric car / ev battery / BV fire on pyrosim challenge

I am a graduate student currently working on a fire safety engineering project as my thesis using PyroSim.
I find modeling EV fires to be significantly more challenging, mainly due to the unique heat release characteristics of lithium-ion batteries and the lack of built-in source parameters or case examples related to EV fires.

I was wondering if you could kindly guide me on the recommended approach for simulating EV battery fires in PyroSim.

Hello, you question is too general to provide simple answer to a complicated topic. You can try to specify more details, aims of your simulation, approaches you already tried, particular problems you do not know how to solve, etc.

If you are looking at fire effects modeling rather than predicting the HRR, we present a model for the HRR profile of ICEVs and BEVs in this paper (first link below). The profiles agreed well with the data in the literature. I compared with some of the recent NIST data for vehicles in WUI fires and the HRRs also agreed well (second link below) but have not published those comparisons anywhere.
