Name convention change for plot3d (.q files)

I realized that from 6.7.7 to 6.7.8 the names of the .q files changed.
For example in 6.7.7 it is "FDS Demo_1_1_0.q"
wheras in 6.7.8 the same file would be named "FDS Demo_1_1p00.q".
I did not find a reference in the release notes for this.
It happened before between versions.

Is there a documentation somewhere else apart from the release notes? Or is there possibly a hidden option to switch between the two?

It is a bit problematic when these results are being used downstream a tool chain.

I do not think we documented the change. It probably was done because the old way caused problems when the time was too large or too small.
