Unhandled Exception: PlatformException(channel-error, Unable to establish connection on channel

You've probably seen this error message in the forums etc a million times. It keeps coming up because it's a weird one.

Here's how to reproduce as at 13:27 GMT, June 6, 2023

My machine:

• Flutter (Channel stable, 3.7.8, on Ubuntu 22.04.2 LTS 5.15.90.1-microsoft-standard-WSL2, locale C.UTF-8)

My flutter doctor:

What I have done

• Install flutter (doctor shows above all working fine)
• Installed flutter fire using documentation here: https://firebase.google.com/docs/flutter/setup?platform=android

When I run, I get this

And in my firebase_options.dart I've done this change

Hi, did you solve it finally ?
I've just run into the exact same problem

if i remember correctly, it had something to do with my keystore settings. the keystore on your local machine should match what's on firebase.
