GIF support and more advanced schedules (setting certain images based on time instead of it cycling through the added images

Describe how you think it could work

Add a gif to the cycle of images and it will play the gif instead of adding it as a static image.

For the schedules, you can attach a specific image from the ones you added to a schedule you added. e.g. when it hits 9 PM, show the photo of the moon that I have added in the list of images to be used on the widget. Both of these features will allow for a larger variety of customizations for home launchers.

GIF support should come some time in the future, I just need to find the time to work on the future. Android widgets do not support animated GIFs officially, so I need to work around that. I also need to tweak the widget editing experience a bit, so the work is a bit more involved.

I like the custom schedule idea, but I'm curious to know how do you see this working when the widget has a few images. If I'm using a custom schedule, should each added photo be assigned a time? Or does it work in tandem with an internal, where images with an assigned time are shown accordingly, but in between those you see other images?

Each added photo should be assigned a time. No photos in between or anything like that.
