Great British Back Off split in Jellyseerr and sync errors

While doing some maintenance I noticed I've got a long-standing error that repeats every 5 minutes for The Great British Bakeoff, Failed to process Jellyfin item. Id: 421beb3edaf7bcef3d6e8bd56cb95ee2.

I've confirmed the folder includes the TVDBid I'd expect:

But, I realized that Jellyseerr is showing 2 entries for the Bake Off split between 2010 and 2017 for some reason:

Sonarr and TVDBid only see these as a singular series. I'm curious if there's a setup I can do to let it play nice with the fact that I do have all 15 seasons, and my folders/files are TRaSH named, but I'm unsure how to make Jellyseerr play nice with it. Any ideas?

Unfortunately I'm not sure there is anything we can't do. Sonarr uses TVDB as its metadata provider. Jellyseerr uses TMDB, and sometimes there are mismatch between the info from TVDB and TMDB.

In terms of self-resolution here, would the best course of action really just be removing GBBO from Jellyseerr? Or will it try to resync again when it scans JF and hit the same issue?

EDIT: The UI answered my own question: "This will irreversibly remove all data for this series, including any requests. If this item exists in your Jellyfin library, the media information will be recreated during the next scan." So really, I'm stuck with a forever error that will ping every 5 minutes? That doesn't seem...great?

EDIT 2: I set the 2017 version as "Available" so at least the request isn't hanging around anymore. However, trying to request the 2010 version so I can set it as available errors out and can't be requested at all.

And, I don't see it on the roadmap but just for my own curiosity, is there a path where Jellyseerr uses TVDB for Series and TMDB/IMDB for Movies? Or will it just use TMBD forever and only that?

I think you can try to clear the data for this series, and let Jellyseerr scan it later. This error happens because Jellyseerr already have the first part of the series, and is trying to add the second part for the exact same TVDB item.
