Why is jellyseerr showing titles from private library it shouldn't have access too.

I'm running both overseerr and jellyseerr to see with one I like more and I've noticed that jellyseer is show titles in the recently added from a library it's not supposed to be monitoring. I've checked radarr and the files are in the correct folders and plex show them in the correct libraries the settings between both jellyseerr and overseer are identical so I'm not sure why these titles are showing up. I manually removed them and when the scan job ran, they were readded. Jellyseerr is running in docker on a ubuntu server instance host in Proxmox. Following is my docker compose file along with a screenshot showing the library in question turned off in settings.

Hmm. How Plex is handled should be identical to overseerr as we dont touch the code for it. Instead pull from upstream. Could you try resyncing the libraries. And then toggle off and on. Then clear data of the offending media. And run recently added scan and send us logs. Without logs can't really tell

Also a full scan log (from jobs&cache) would help too. As it would show us which libraries are getting scanned

I have done as you've suggested resynced the libraries toggled all off and on then rescanned, turned the appropriate library off and rescanned a second time. Next I removed the media from the recently added listed manually, then triggered the scan from the jobs tab. Looking at the logs I see the offending media here:

Oh I see the issue. Its not from plex scan. Its from radarr scan. It has no knowledge of what library is enabled or disabled on plex. So radarr is like here you go i have this movie as well. So its marking it as available from radarr even if its not being scanned from plex. The issue comes from settings > services > radarr > enable scan option which will sync with radarr. This behavior is identical on overseerr as well as radarr has no concept of libraries (just folders and radarr doesnt know which folder is which library as technically there could be multiple folders in a single library). So its syncing all.

For the time being there are two workarounds for you:

• Disable enable scan on radarr
• Have a seperate radarr service handling adding media to the disabled library (this is probably not a feasible or optimal solution so I would suggest the former.

Meanwhile, I'll discuss this with my co-dev and overseerr devs on how to handle disabled libraries when scanning from services. Its not accounted for.

Yeah. You'll need to disable that scan for now. Since that scan nor radarr doesn't have any concept of what libraries are enabled and what's not. So until we can figure out the optimal way to handle that (i am currently discussing with the team :) )

What's weird is both jelly and overseer have the radarr scan enabled but only jellyseerr is actually adding to the recently added list but both show the titles available if I search them.

For now I'll disable radarr scan and hope for a future update.

I had a discussion with overseerr team, and they also said *arr scan should be disabled. That's the intended behavior. As for recently added thing, if you remove the media from overseerr and rerun it should add it similarly I believe as recently added
