cv2 on Jupyter-Book

Hi everyone
I'm trying to use cv2 on a jupyter book. When I'm running my code on the live code mode I get error: (-215:Assertion failed) !img.empty() in function 'checkQRInputImage' , it's supposed to get the image from the computer camera but it doesn't even open. Is there a way to make it work?
