Different style of citations and bibliography

Hi there,

For some reason, the style of my bibliography doesn't match the style of the citations in the text.

This is my reference {cite}`laliberte_regional_2016`.

gets rendered like

My _config.yml contains these settings:

bibtex_bibfiles:

sphinx:

The package versions are:

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Any help is highly appreciated :-)
