mystmd custom title page

I'm interested in using mystmd for producing a consultants report.
It requires custom branding and different information fields from journal articles covered here: https://mystmd.org/guide/frontmatter

is there a suggested approach for this?
looking for something similar to https://nmfs-opensci.github.io/quarto_titlepages/
