Tracking: Expo SDK 54 (beta) compatibility for Evolu (React Native/Expo)

Expo SDK 54 is in beta. Let’s use this thread to collect compatibility notes, known‑good version sets, and reproducible test results for Evolu apps on iOS/Android.

Current guidance

• Use development builds (not Expo Go) due to native crypto/JSI and exports resolution.
• Keep the quick‑crypto stack (+ random‑values helper) and pin versions.
• EAS Update can fetch/apply in background but platform limits apply, especially on iOS.

What to validate

• Dev build CRUD smoke test on iOS and Android with Evolu preview packages.
• Release/TestFlight build: sync & broadcasting between two devices.
• EAS Update background fetch/apply behavior.
• Bundling: correct exports resolution (no Expo Go assumptions).
