You can run this command to view your network device configs, and find the one that matches your network interface name: To filter to just the relevant information of network interface and mac address: |

So when I run that command the Mac address that it is showing for eth9 in my case does not match the MAC address that I put in the script. That's why I was wondering if that script changes it somewhere else. I guess if I am up and running I should probably remove the script from my /etc/network/if-up.d/ correct? |

Yeah, if it's not doing anything, you can just remove the script. Did the MAC spoofing via the Unifi UI work on its own for you? |

I don't think I am using any Mac spoofing. I ended up waiting the 20 or so minutes and ended up pulling an IP. |

Is there anyway to check to see if the change Mac script actually worked? Where can I go on the device to verify that it worked? I run it and it doesn't seem like it works. Are we supposed to remove the quotes?
