Hello!

I would like to try EVCC with my SolarEdge SE7600. Hopefully this is a straightforward addition.

Some notes that might help:

If I add it as "SolarEdge Hybrid Inverter" I get this error:

 Choose the ModBus interface TCP/IP
 Modbus ID 1
 IP address or hostname 192.168.74.46
 Port 502
 Timeout

   Error: cannot create meter type 'custom': power: add[0]: sunspec model not found: [{101 0 DCW} {103 0 DCW}]

I have a battery, connected to the 7600, but I also tried with "SolarEdge Inverter". The error is slightly different.

Error: cannot create meter type 'custom': power: sunspec model not found: [{101 0 W} {103 0 W}]

If I run evcc sunspec 192.168.74.46:502 I get this output:

evcc-sunspec.txt

This lists Model 102 and 203, the data looks promising.

I would be happy to try code changes in evcc/mbdb/gosunspec I could have some pointers.

you can modify the template https://github.com/evcc-io/evcc/blob/master/templates/definition/meter/sunspec-inverter.yaml by changing every parameter 101: to 102:
Save this file locally and test it by using #19495

It sounds like "split phase" is a device for the US market. If 102 works we should allow anywhere we have

[12][01][13]

to

[12][012][13]

Happy to take a PR.

Before we do so it would be great to see if grid works here.

With a bit of guesswork, I got something.

I made a local copy of sunspec-inverter.yaml and changed 101: to 102: and also changed the template name to template: sunspec-inverter-2.

I ran configure with the template and selected solaredge-hybrid. It found the grid and battery OK, but there was an error with PV.

I manually switched the PV template to sunspec-inverter-2 in evcc.yaml, so I have this:
