How to utilize surplus despite (or in addition to) active plan?

Hi,

following situation:

• car battery today, 10:00 am at 40%
• target charge set with a plan to 100% for next day 13:00
• intermittent sunshine with surplus available expected for the rest of today

HOWEVER: becaus of the active plan(?) this surpose isn't utilized. evcc is just sitting there, waiting for 6am tomorrow to arrive to start with the execution of the charging plan.

For now I set the plan to "Inactive" and charging started immedaitely (surplus was available). But that doesn't seem smart. Is there a better way to automate it? I.E.: set the plan but also utilize the surplus that might be available before. I would expect that the car gets charged today from 40% to perhaps 65%, which would then make it possible to start with the plan execution at a later point in time tomorrow.

is in line with mine - assuming you were running in PV Mode. Can you please share a log of the observed behavior?
