if this is the main reason, you can provide this information also via mqtt But back to your wish. I do similar with my tumble dryer. |

Hi all,
I have a question / request, that might sound a bit like a misuse of EVCC: I would like to use EVCC to just monitor the loading, BUT I do not want to use EVCC to control the loading.
That might sound rather strange, therefore let me explain why.
We have two PV plants (a very old one and a Fronius Symo) and a Wattpilot for loading.
The system is configured for excess solar power load, and this works fine; the energy of both plants is used to charge the car.
I can monitor the solar power production of the inverter, etc. with my smart home system (openhab), but what I'm missing is the information how much energy is loaded into the car and it's SoC, etc.
This is where EVCC comes into play; in can easily be integrated into openhab and would provide me with all information I want.
BUT it conflicts with the systems own configuration.
Using EVCC to control the loading is not really an option. With EVCC the power of the old solar plant is not taken into account; it seems as if the Fronius inverter does not expose the information to EVCC.
So to put it short: Is there a way to use EVCC and it's integration into e.g. openhab, but to leave the control for loading with an other system (e.g. the Fronius system)?
Thanks,
Veronika
