Will ethers use eth_maxPriorityFeePerGas to calculate maxPriorityFeePerGas and maxFeePerGas?

Now, it is a constant, and is greater than the value obtained from eth_maxPriorityFeePerGas in most cases.

maxPriorityFeePerGas = BigInt("1000000000");

Is this widely supported right now? It is definitely something I've wanted for a while. :)

not sure, but looks like viem has adopted this.

If it is a reliable API method, I will certainly adopt it. What is the current value returned?

I generally update it as the network teams contact me and let me know what their research-based values indicate are best practices. But if I can pull it from somewhere, I’d much prefer that. ;)

But I also don’t want to break networks that don’t currently support it.
