What ip are you talking about ? You can set any custom RPC provider with EthersJS

Yes, this is more something you would likely do in your OS, by using a service that provides a SOCKS5 proxy. There is nothing built into Ethers to change your IP address...

Why not ether.js support SocksProxyAgent / HttpsProxyAgent, it can increase the number of node accesses effectively. I hope you can consider adding this feature. Thank you, looking forward to your reply @ricmoo

There are FetchRequest hooks available, so you can use any underlying http logic you wish to plug in. :)
