Create new Contract instance not working

const contract = new ethers.Contract(address, abi, library.signer())

does not create a new Contract.

A Contract object only represents a connection to a deployed contract. See the link provided by @yuetloo for more information on deployment.

I have already deployed contact named "FightFactory". I try to create a new Contract Instance in order to reach Contracts methods by const contract = new ethers.Contract(address, abi, library.signer()).

But it does not create it

Can you please include a full code example, that demonstrates the issue? If you can reproduce it on https://playground.ethers.org it will make it easier to understand the problem.
