Getting "bad"/nonexistent tx hashes from sendTransaction

We are hitting an issue in prod that is absolutely plaguing us. The issue is we call wallet.sendTransaction(...) which gives us a tx response that contains a tx hash. However, we cannot find the tx hash on any explorer or anything, as if it doesn't exist. This has happened even after provider switches, so I'm not sure if it's the node to blame or something in Ethers. We have been seeing this on Matic and BSC.

Has anyone else experienced this? Would love some hints on where to look.

Is your gas price sufficient? If the gas price is too low many explorers may drop it from indexing. Some chains also do bot index at all until it has been mined.

Thanks a bunch, didn't think to look at the gas price, but possible that gas price queries are weird on other chains so we will look at this.
