contract.on fetching old logs

contract.on(contract.filters.Transfer(), (from, to, amount) => {
      console.log("New Transfer:", from, to, amount);
});

My token is a basic ERC20 Token.
I'm using this code to log new transfers. When I make a new transaction, it is logging, but when I refresh the page, It is logging that transfer again even though it's an old one.

I only want to log new transactions and not the old ones. Please let me know if I'm missing something here.
