  • Infrastructure Bootstrap

    This is a release capable of catching up and keeping up with mainnet, with the assistance of another client (`geth`). The Trinity team will launch and maintain some nodes at this point. Soon after, these nodes will be upgraded to broadcast metadata about block state via #1225. Then the bootstrap nodes can be hardcoded in and future Trinity nodes will be able to Beam Sync without assistance from a `geth` node.

  • Trinity with the turbo database format can keep up with mainnet

    A manually created trinity node (which imports the Geth database) can start from the imported state and catch back up with mainnet.
