Modern theocratic history project contributors

Some have asked about having a timeline of modern theocratic history (or adding such events to the Timeline of Bible History).

This could be a very appropriate subject for a new project: a timeline of modern theocratic history. It would involve getting the events - properly formatted - into a (database/spreadsheet) table.

@erykjj I use a timeline a lot for my personal study, I started looking for projects two years ago and there are a few, but most of them have not been updated.

Then I started with Aeon and added my own data. Not only modern data, but also historical data. With sources and links to events and people. Aeon is very easy to use and above all you can update data very quickly (+ Mobile). I currently have +1200 entries (and yes, there are still some missing). If you want to use these entries, I can create a CSV for you.

These are just my personal investigations and partly also interpretations. Example: I have used my “imagination” for some of Paul's journeys and thought about when he might have been where - unless the Bible gives a clear indication. In Aeon you can “lock” a date. If I find enough “evidence” or references in the literature for a date, then I “close” an event. If the event is a guess, but it is quite possible, then the date remains open.

Oh, and the date names are all in German. But a joint project would be interesting. I am also open to helping out.
