@erykjj the abbreviations 'BCE' and 'CE', are they going to be translated elsewhere? Because in my language that would be 'f.v.t.' and 'e.v.t.'. If not, is it OK to write the danish translation with the abbreviations in parathesis, like this: "Før vor tidsregning (f.v.t.) |

Do not be surprised if I haven't translated some of the text; the equivalent Cebuano term is quite obsolete for modern usage. Language is constantly evolving.

Ok. Most of the names are commonly present in theocratic or secular
publications, so it seems be more typing than thinking though😂
Details may prove difficult like abbreviations or section titles that
render sense rather than word-for-word😀
Looking fwd to hearing from you soon👋

… Great! No, Polish TBH has not been done. It is *much* more difficult, as
it involves a lot of names. Let's get E-A confirmed and published, then we
can try this ;-)

Hello @erykjj👋
Concerning TBH, date_strings.csv and framework_strings.csv done. Alas, a
lot of false spellcheck alerts evoked, mainly for Polish versions of Hebrew
& Greek names, which I’d rendered as in Polish theocratic sources, eg. “All
Scripture” (si — Study Nr 3), or “Insight” (it-1 — Chronology). Some
punctuation differences as well, which I tried to keep consistent. Eg. in
Polish ordinal numbers are abbreviated as digit+full stop (“seventh” =
“7.”) and names of months always rendered in lower case unless beginning a
sentence etc. No single rule existing for weekdays abbreviations I
consistently rendered them in 1.st upper case.
Much easier though is the issue (in some languages) of B.C.E./C.E. and
B.C. (Before Christ) as in Polish p.n.e./n.e. abbreviations are exclusively
used & pertaining “before /common era”). “a.=after” &”b.=before” not so
easy, same first letter in Polish😀 so, “po” (=“after”) left without short,
and “przed” (=“before”) “p.” as in “p.n.e.”
Suggestions:
1️⃣Bible translation: to supplement all entries with information on edition
language (not obvious for non-English readers) e.g. Quaker Bible, Thomson’s
Translation, Young’s Literal Translation, Webster’s Revision etc. (just
one-word in brackets, “English”).
2️⃣In a TBH release for Polish users to add some entries of most important
among dozens of Polish translations (Brest Bible being the only one in TBH
so far). I suggest at least 4 (*Jakub Wujek* & *Millenium* chosen as vastly
used and impactive):
• 1455 C.E.
‣Bible of Queen Sophia published (first in Polish)
• 1599 C.E.
‣Jakub Wujek Bible published (Polish, from Vulgate)
• 1965 C.E.
‣Millennium Bible published (Polish, from Hebrew & Greek)
• 1997 C.E.
‣New World Translation published in Polish
—
Pertaining Brest Bible, I suggest to add: (Polish, first translation from
Hebrew & Greek)
3️⃣Suggestion to add 3 entries significant (e.g. for prevalence of
believers etc.) in section:
Sacred texts /sacred texts
• c. 400 B.C.E.
‣Avesta compiled (Zoroastrianism)
• 1604 C.E.
‣Guru Granth Sahib compiled (Sikhism)
• 1829 C.E.
‣The Book of Mormon completed (Latter-day Saints)
4️⃣Suggestion to distinguish with a slightly different shade of color the
events:
•described in the Bible (or in the Bible and secular sources)
•described exclusively in secular sources
—
BTW, please accept sincere commend for TBH idea. Superimposing the timeline
of events described in the Bible on the timeline containing known &
verified world events and historical figures, dividing the collected
information into sets & organizing them according to places of occurrence,
eras, nature of events and still keeping it concise is brilliant!
PS.
How's Polish release of E-A? 😉

*Thanks! Now proofing appointed times start (hope less than 70 weeks😂) As
for correcting, bugs just have a way of creeping in😉 and we simply don’t
let lame books on theocratic bookshelf, that’s all😊*

The Bible, esp. Heb.Scriptures, is *full* of double personal names, most of
them being used once-twice (e.g.Joseph Ge 41:45, Solomon 2Sm 12:25 etc) so
no need to bother. The only example involving *a period of time*, beside
Abram and Sarai, is Saul (Ac 13:9), so *prior* mentions of him could be
„Saul [Paul]”— mainly cos related verses calling so.
No other remarks so far. Now just waiting for my proofing pal to go on.

That is a very good suggestion. What other such double-personalities come
to mind?
my helper, whom I appreciate a lot, has just replied: "I prefer to remain
anonymous :D"
I will certainly respect that. But many thanks from me!!!
'redundant' word with kings, as tagged info is easy to omit
I will sleep on that :-)

After giving it some thought, I have decided to go ahead with the translation of TBH. It can be done quite fast using online tools. That is the easy part. The hard part is revision/correction.
If you are willing to volunteer your time/effort to a certain language, please let me know in this thread.
