Is v2.x no longer supported?

I'm curious, as it seems that Issues for the past 4-5 months (at minimum) haven't had response or prioritization. Is all work currently focused on a v3 release? If so, when can we expect that to occur?

I love the idea of Vale, but the implementation in 2.0 makes it very difficult to realize in production except for very, very narrow use cases (generally - pure documentation without any code attached, from what I'm experiencing).
