As I understand it, the most broad scope is the raw contents of individual Markdown files.

Has there been any consideration of a scope that runs across the source files as a collective?

A concrete example would be to verify links between two files. Or more prose oriented: checking link text is appropriate for the destination, perhaps that it matches the destination file's title.

I searched for the terms "multiple files", "across files", and "scope" but didn't find anything discussing this topic.
