Edge overwrites keyword table

I tried to use this script library when transferring data from an old device to a new device (from Edge 139.XXX (64-bit) to Edge 140.XXX (64 bit arm).

The script does successfully overwrite the keywords SQL table. However, the moment I restart Microsoft Edge, the keywords table is overwritten by Edge again, and only the default entries (e.g. @tabs, @history, ...) are to be found.

I tried completely killing edge before and not killing it, shutting down my device after the initial overwrite (full shutdown without hibernate), still upon starting Edge the keywords file was overwritten again.

Does anyone experience similar issues?

This script was implemented a few years ago.
I assume you're encountering issues due to the rapid evolution of web browsers.
I'll investigate this next week and hopefully resolve the problem.

Please be cautious when running scripts for now.
Losing a lot of custom search engines, which took a lot of time to set up, isn't very cool.

I have backups. I just tried to play around a bit. I guess a manual transfer will also work, just a bit tedious.
