Neovim Qt is in both the Debian and Ubuntu package repositories, and can be installed with APT. This means that it should also available on any OS that uses these repositories, such as Linux Mint.
->
This really does not work well.

  1. On latest ubuntu LTS. "apt install neovim-qt" installs an old version nvim, which is not usable because of missing features.
  2. "snap store" has latest nvim. But it does not have nvim-qt.

So the current situation for user of latest ubuntu LTS, which is the most porpular Linux distribution : user has to build SRC on his own, which is very inconvinent.

So please provide an .tar.bz2 packge for linux. So user can use it across multiple Linux distribution.

Ideally: please provide latest binary on snap store too, which is the most convenient way.

Pleas provide mac_arm64.tar.bz2 package: on Mac, nvim-qt depends on brew. But installing brew would take up to 1GB disk (up to 500 MB for brew core files. up to 500 MB for xcode clt), which is really too much for a text editor. Except the active Mac developer, 1GB could be a big concern for normal user.

Please consider. Thanks.
