How to perform session management using uWebSockets?

Issue

I want to have auth with my GraphQL API using JWT. I am unable to fetch Auth header to get my JWT.
After my request upgrades to WS, all old headers are lot.

Tech Stack and Libs

• uWebSockets.js
• graphql-ws
• graphql-yoga

Things I have tried

• useJWT plugin - https://the-guild.dev/graphql/yoga-server/docs/features/jwt

This apperently only work for Query and Mutation only. As soon as I use Subscription, my app breaks.

But, on modifying the request handling code, app breaks again.

You cannot set custom to the HTTP upgrade request of the WebSocket in browsers - so you shouldn't rely on an Authorization header token from headers. Meaning, the useJWT plugin wont even work.

You should instead rely on the ConnectionInit message payload which is set through connectionParams.
