Broken on GNOME

What happened?

The app seems to be broken on GNOME with the default adwaita stylesheet.

broken features

• Color history buttons not properly displaying color
• Pick color button doesn't work properly
• Preview window loaded to black

Steps to reproduce

1. Open app in GNOME
2. Click the pick color button

What was expected?

App should function as normal

Although there are quite nice native GNOME apps that perform a similar function to this app (eg. Eyedropper), would be nice to have the app functioning properly in GNOME as well. This could also be an issue for other non elementary distributions and stylesheets.
