Icons cut off in Inkscape tab bar menu/popover (visual glitch)

What Happened?

In Inkscape, next to the tabs in the sidebar, there is this menu, marked with a downwards-pointing green arrow , which lets you open a new tab. Each possible tab you can open is marked with an icon. The icons on the left side of the popup are partially cut off.

Steps to Reproduce

1. Install Inkscape.
2. Open Inkscape.
3. Set the theme in Inkscape’s settings to any version of the elementary stylesheet (such as io.elementary.stylesheet.blueberry)

4. Press the little down arrow in the top left corner
5. Observe the following:

Expected Behavior

The icons should not be cut off. Here is Adwaita for reference:
