Can not log in with default Brave browser (gH auth)

Steps to reproduce

1. Having the latest Element X app installed
2. Having the latest default Brave browser installed
3. Trying to log in with existing credentials (gH auth)
4. The app fails to reach 2FA, got an issue

Outcome

What did you expect?

Wanted to use the app with inline Brave default browser

What happened instead?

No option for login, no pop-up layer/window for the authentication

Sorry, but I just tested this and it's working fine for me on the latest stable version of Brave.

I'm not sure what the problem could be, do you have 2 versions of Element X installed, like the stable one and a release one, or the Google Play one and F-droid one?

1. Only Element X was installed
2. I'm opened the Element X app (details shared previously)
3. I'm clicked on sign in (details shared previously - Github account login used)

Actually I'm downloaded the app from the Play! Store, I'm still not knowing what's happening. Thank you

I tried following the same steps with a test GH account and I was able to log into matrix.org. I didn't get the dialog for opening an URL using a browser though.

Could you try again, then going back to the initial screen and clicking on 'report a bug' and submitting a bug report through it with a link to this issue? Maybe that way we can figure out why the login flow is not progressing as expected for you.

Reopened. Accidentally found similar issue.
When I wanted to login with Github in CodePen under Brave mobile, the same Browser selector interface cames up, with no login ability. I linked it in before. Probably it is not Element X problem, but need to solve it to use the Brave Github login issue. Thank you @jmartinesp
