Sharing videos from gallery to EXA and via EXA + sign have different outputs in element-web

Steps to reproduce

1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
   Sharing a video (approx 35MB) from gallery and
   Sharing the same video via EXA using the + sign.

Outcome

What did you expect?

Both sending the video on other clients.

What happened instead?

When sharing via gallery app, the video is unplayable in the element-web. I think this is the same for other clients too from user feedback but I didn't have the chance to test.

Sharing the same video using the + from EXA send the video in a playable format (i.e. the play button is clickable) in element-web. Again I am guessing this is the same in other clients but didn't get a chance to test.
