Joined rooms are missing from my room list (related to location live sharing)

Steps to reproduce

Unknown but likely related to 1000s of beacon events in some of those rooms.

Element Web 1.10.12 is also missing a few rooms but shows 2 rooms that are not visible in the current version on develop.element.io. I think this is a bug and a regression.

Outcome

What did you expect?

All rooms to be shown in the room list.

What happened instead?

Some rooms are missing from the sidebar.
When clicking on a space they are in, they have a "Join" button. Clicking the "Join" button will cause it to spin forever.

A list of room IDs will be posted on the rageshake issue.

I think this is the source error:

Note: None of my recent beacon events contain a geo location.
I'm using beacons to stream other arbitrary data, so these are likely invalid events according to MSC3489.
