what do you mean? what's the difference to the dark theme we alrdy got?

hmmm. i mainly added pdf support because it is kinda builtin in Android already and sometimes but rarely comics come as a pdf file. the focus is on comic files.

afaic the best multi platform ebook reader is KOReader. did you ever try that one? https://koreader.rocks/
i am pretty sure they have a dark mode any many more useful ebook features built-in.

İ heard about it but as i know its designed for eink devices that wont fit my phone well

using it on Kindle Paperwhite and an OLED Android Tablet and works very well for me. you should really give it a try.

wrt. dark reading mode in Bubble2. i'm goin to leave the ticket open but wont promise you anything as it is a very specific request for the pdf format only which again we don't focus at ;(

feel free to provide a changeset and i will consider it. my main concern is that it'll need some ui element to switch on/off but that will only effect that one reader.
