update to 1.60.2

If I want to upgrade from 1.53.2 to 1.60.2, can I directly modify the version numbers of all @ theia packages? I saw in the update log that there were changes from yarn to npm and invertifyjs involved.

Hey @wangkai2-sys,

Yes, you can simply update Theia by pulling up the dependencies (note that all packages need to use the same version). The change from yarn to npm is not that relevant to adopters.

As for inversify: we pushed the version we use to 6. There might be minor changes in the runtime behavior of inversify. Refer to their changelog for more info.

Hello, after upgrading to 1.60.2, when I start theia, there will be a quick flashing cmd window, which is basically related to @ theia/filesystem. Is there a solution to this

Not that I'm aware of. I would assume you're also running into #14890? This issue hasn't been resolved yet.
