Eclipse Foundation open source projects are vendor neutral. When the project moved to the Eclipse Foundation, it ceased to be a Microsoft project and became a vendor neutral project under the governance of the Eclipse Foundation Development Process. It appears that some files have not yet been updated, which gives an impression that the project is owned by Microsoft.
The trademarks section in the README needs to be updated per #756
The SECURITY file must direct people to use Eclipse Foundation resources to report and resolve vulnerabilities. The EF Security Team has provided a template that you can use. There's more information regarding how we do security and vulnerability manage in open source at the EF in the handbook.
Likewise, you must use the Eclipse Foundation's Community Code of Conduct.
Please add a CONTRIBUTING file as described in the handbook.
