Are you using the IntelliJ deployment?

As MVD matures, the IntelliJ deployment and the Kubernetes deployment begin to diverge so significantly, that it becomes difficult and time consuming to maintain both.

We'd therefor like to gauge which variant people are using more.

We are using a dockerized version rather than Intellij.

Hi, could you explain me how did you dockerized the MVD, im facing many errors... What steps did you follow?

We are in the process of dockerizing it. So far, we've only been able to set up a basic scenario with the Samples connectors.

In summary, what we've done is:

• We have generated images for each MVD component (control plane, data plane, catalog server, identity hub, and dataspace issuer).
• These images have been uploaded to a container registry.
• We have created different scenarios using the images from the container registry.
• We have generated a new issuer to sign new credentials that are valid in a dockerized environment. The credentials in IntelliJ point to localhost, while those in K8s use a URL with DNS:pod_name, whereas Docker only needs a DNS, which is the service name.

In short, it's a rather complex process.
