As we already have deprecated the limit option for quite some time see [docu](https://www.eclipse.org/ditto/basic-search.html#rql-paging-deprecated), we will remove all code related to this option from the Ditto code base. With Ditto version 4.0.0 the limit option will no longer be possible to use at the Search API.
