eMERLIN not recognized as a telescope

Sometimes you may get the pipeline crashing due to this error (or v. similar)

2017-04-13 11:00:37 SEVERE listobs Exception Reported: Exception: Telescope e-MERLIN is not recognized by CASA

Solution:

Open your ~/.casarc file with a text editor to check if measures.directory: has been set.
If so, move ~/.casarc to ~/old_casarc (or something similarly named). measures.directory is normally set when LOFAR software is installed so, if you would like to use the LOFAR software again, move old_casarc back to ~/.casarc
If this doesn't work, make sure your CASA is up to date or send us a message.
