Screen Grab

The screen grab feature is buggy at best. I have tried pointing it to a live view, a static jpeg view, etc. It will always grab the first image, but will never update or poll, no matter what the settings are.

Sometimes the image gets sized and other times it does not.

I am thinking this should be fixed as it is a kick ass feature.

Love the software and appreciate the hard work!

Buggy is putting it mildly, it probably should only be in a dev release at this point. I'd been just starting to implement this feature when work and life made things more complicated over the last couple months. I'll try to get some dev cycles in to improve this feature, I really appreciate the testing and feedback!

I am learning Go just to help. But I know Linux like the back of my hand and implemented a workaround. So it works like clockwork in my instance now. A single liner calling ffmpeg to overwrite the existing image with the same name as the one from the initial setup. Shut the container down. Modify the compose file:

Now it works like a charm.

Flip that command around: command: sh -c '(while true; do /app/stream_capture.sh; sleep 1800; done) & /app/isley'
