Can't choose a strain.

Hi, nice project.

Unfortunately I can't figure out how to choose a strain when I want to add a plant.

On zones I can select new zone and a text edit appears. this is not working with strain and it also doesn't show any existing strain.

Running in docker ubuntu 24.10

Sorry, the UI is a little clunky atm. To add a strain you should be able to go to the strains page (the DNA looking icon in the menu at top)

There should be a green plus on the top right. This will launch the add strain modal.

Wow, what a fast reply. I already created some strains on this page, but they don't show up.

Alright, firing up a fresh instance and seeing if I can reproduce. If you have a moment, try restarting the container and lmk if they show up. My gut says it might be something w/ the way I'm caching some data.

I also have this issue on english and german language.

Now something else has occurred to me: I have changed the port in docker, do I also have to specify it in the environment variable? I assumed that this is the internal container port.

If you're getting to the site the port setting is right. I'm seeing some issues when there's no data in the db yet locally. I'm working up a fix build. I appreciate all your feedback.

I checked the port settings I think also it was correct.

The environment variable sets the internal port, and I can map this to an external port as used to be

This should be fixed in the build that is just rolling out. If you update your container to the new latest you should see it. This should allow you to create strains via the above workflow or via the add plant page itself.

Now the text edit appears on creating a new strain within a new plant. But the strain is shown nowhere else. So I can't set other settings on the strain.

When I change values e.g. update a plant I have to restart the container to get the website working again.

I am seeing the same issue as in above comment, running isley 0.1.17. I can create a strain on the strains page, but the strain dropdown is not populated in the plant edit view. When saving this form the app locks up and I have to restart container.

nice software, I like it very much. unfortunately, I'm still having this problem, with the latest 0.1.26 build. I created a new strain. If I create a new plant, I can't select it. Only the option "add new strain" appears. restarting the Docker container doesn't help.
