If we do this, then the custom MULTIREWEIGHT-BROADCAST-SCAN, MULTIREWEIGHT-BROADCAST-REWEIGHT, and MULTIREWEIGHT-CHECK-REWINDING commands can be dropped & replaced with their REWEIGHT counterparts.
