How to add a new "view"?

Hello, I have been trying to add a new "view" but I do not understand how the switchView function works, for example I have created a new settings2.ejs file along with its script but if I do a "switchView(getCurrentView(), VIEWS.settings2, 500, 500 , () =>" takes me to a part where only the background appears. I have tried to find information to understand how it works, but I can't find anything, so if someone wants to share their knowledge with me I will be delighted
